When Breeze's insight was incorrect
Chris Carolan · Tuesday, November 3, 2026
What do you do when your AI tool confidently tells you something about your own event that isn't true? Breeze (HubSpot's built-in AI) read our Houston HUG (HubSpot User Group) campaign and said "LinkedIn alone carries your workshop push." Here's what actually happened: most registrants came from a HubSpot email sent the Monday before the Thursday event, to people who had attended a Houston event in August. I think we had mid-20s registrants. A few more came through a personal introduction. "Breeze can't possibly know that unless I tell it." So that insight "is incorrect," and everything after it comes from "an incorrect frame and context." You get a reason to read AI's insights as a first draft, and a habit of telling it what you know. What does your AI tool not know about where your results come from? Office Hours are free through November. All you need is a free Hubsessed subscription.
