Campaigns were folders. Now they're more.

Casey Hawkins · Tuesday, November 3, 2026

What if HubSpot campaigns were just folders for your emails and social posts? I think that's how the system has treated them: "a categorization or a folder for those assets." Now that it's more than that, it's hard to go back and update. Here's an example. I scheduled social posts the night before, and campaigns is one of four things you fill out, so you just do it. Today I learned I "didn't even know you could connect external pages." Then Breeze (HubSpot's built-in AI) gave a correction: the campaign brief should "express the established show and its participation model, not invent a new purpose from the handful of social posts on the campaign." My reaction: amen. We only got there because Chris pushed back. His point: "Nobody's going to get here until you start learning how to talk to AI." You get a real example of pushing back on AI and getting a better answer. When did you last push back on an AI answer? Office Hours are free through November. All you need is a free Hubsessed subscription. Replay clip from Hubsessed Office Hours: Loop Marketing and AEO. Chris and I hosted.
