From Webinar to ARR: How Contrast Leveraged a Hubsessed Sponsorship for Rapid ROI

The Goal

Contrast had built one of the most powerful webinar platforms for HubSpot customers, but they were struggling to break through in a crowded market. After meeting Ryan at INBOUND 2025, the Contrast team engaged Hubsessed in a sponsorship. The goal was to position Contrast as the essential tool for HubSpot users who value deep reporting, attribution, and seamless data integration.

The Solution

Ryan suggested leaning into HubSpot’s recent update to the Marketing Events object, which made webinar data significantly more accessible for reporting and workflows. To showcase this, we used live data synced directly from Contrast to build a comprehensive HubSpot reporting dashboard featuring attribution, lead gen, and retention metrics. We then used teaser screenshots of this dashboard in a targeted LinkedIn campaign to drive registrations, followed by an educational webinar that showed users exactly how to replicate these results.

The Results

The data-driven approach drove instant results, generating over 850 registrations for the webinar, with 427 viewing the broadcast. The impact on the bottom line was even more significant: within three months, Contrast closed 14 new customers who had attended the webinar, resulting in over $50k in new ARR. The success of this initial collaboration has led to an ongoing partnership, with Contrast re-engaging for a follow-up campaign to further scale their reach within the HubSpot community.

The Goal

AskElephant was about to release their new HubSpot Agent and wanted to make a splash with HubSpot partners. They hoped to drive registrations for a targeted webinar that would cover the benefits of the tool for partners.

The Solution

I wrote a newsletter the covered a breakdown of the tool and the new HubSpot Agent, use cases of AskElephant for HubSpot audiences, and how AskElephant is using their own product to identify and address the specific pain points of HubSpot Partners. The newsletter also included a CTA directing partners to sign up for the upcoming webinar. After publication, I promoted the newsletter and the webinar in several posts and comments on LinkedIn to help drive registrations.

The Results

AskElephant’s webinar was a massive success, with over 200 registrations and a 75% attendance rate. This spurred aggressive adoption among HubSpot partners and generated buzz across LinkedIn, resulting in one of the most successful pushes into the partner ecosystem any software company has achieved.
