A hand raiser without raising a hand
George B. Thomas · Friday, October 16, 2026
Does someone have to raise their hand before you treat them as a good fit? I don't think so. If it's a very thin slice, why would I not decide to educate them and add value, and why wouldn't they go into the starting line stage? Unless there are enough indicators, using AI or whatever tool you're using, that they almost become a hand raiser without raising their hand. That's possible today. I can set up a dope prompt in a system where, if this person or this company checks 17 out of 20 boxes, I'm driving over to their location, knocking on their door, and asking them to lunch. The 17 out of 20 is my example of the idea, not a benchmark. You get a way to decide between giving value and reaching out in person. What would your 20 boxes be?
