Hubsessed Office Hours Recap: HubSpot Super Admin, October 2, 2026

Friday, October 2, 2026

In our first Office Hours for HubSpot Super Admin, we looked at what has changed for admins in six months: Breeze as trusted help and a data model that goes well beyond contacts, companies and deals. We also came back to the habit of asking whether something is possible, then testing it. This is the written recap of the session.

Breeze is trusted help now

We opened with one question: what has changed most for super admins in the last six months? Our answer was getting help from Breeze. Six months ago we were not even suggesting it to anybody, and then it was like a switch.

George B. Thomas shared what he has been doing lately: "I've had breeze create properties, I've had breeze create segments, I've had breeze create workflows." We also talked about Breeze backfilling data that was believed to be disappearing, when it was really being overwritten. The catch is that the admin still has to understand the data model and know what to ask.

For many admins the harder part is working in a business that says no to turning Breeze on. Our goal is simple: "we want to put you in a place where you can help the business say yes in moments like that."

The data model is not just three objects anymore

Asked what matters most beyond Breeze, Chris said, "I always go to data model." The session put the reason plainly: "we don't live in a world of just contacts, companies, and deals anymore."

We walked through the Breeze sidebar in the data model view, which offers to map a portal's data model. One host also shared an onboarding routine any admin can borrow: use AI to research the company and its founders, run a HubSpot audit, download the portal's properties, and give all of it to your AI project. After that, questions about duplicate properties, properties that could be merged, or whether you need another object get much better answers.

Two related reminders. Check the connectors and scopes on your other AI tools so they can see the whole data model. And think of HubSpot less as only a CRM and more as your context engine.

Is it possible? Test it.

One host says four landing pages for sales reps took about twenty minutes, where the people shown them guessed two to three hours or half a day. The takeaway was the question itself: is it possible? Then go test it.

A test that fails still teaches you something. One host says they asked Breeze to rebuild a legacy form as a new form, and it said it could not. That is useful to know, and the same host hopes a request like that reaches HubSpot. As one of us put it, "Mindset is so crucial in HubSpot."

One host also described starting an agent-first layer for a website, with an MCP server, an llm.txt file and markdown files that rewrite when a page changes. The idea is that admins, as keepers of the website, should think about agents as well as humans, while the content keeps serving humans.

Simplify the complex

On working with AI day to day, George B. Thomas shared a habit: before sending a final document, ask for a last pass and "remember to simplify the complex." Executives need the surface that gets them to a yes.

We also showed how a short prompt can change a result, such as asking for an award-winning designer to make it better and follow your brand colors. Your brand colors and fonts should live in HubSpot too.

Behind all of it is a T-shaped growth mindset. In George's words, you need to know "a little bit about a lot," and then pick where you will build a deep vein of knowledge. Experienced admins have an edge with these tools.

A first look at Breeze Builder

We closed with a first look at asking Breeze for a prompt to turn a one-pager into an interactive app with Breeze Builder, which we described in the session as a private beta. The appeal is keeping the context inside HubSpot instead of moving to slides.

Our last reminder: a human and a strategy are still required. Be human, be strategic, "and then let us know what are you going to build next in your HubSpot portal as an admin." We welcome questions about conversations with Breeze that did not go the way you hoped.
