The magic "me" filter confuses everybody

A sales leader asks why they can't see a rep's deals, and the report is working fine. I said this in Reporting and Dashboards Office Hours about the "me" filter: "It's confusing for everybody." My move is to ask, "What do your filters say?" and have them share their screen. Then comes "Oh, see how it says me?" Madelyn told me she does it all the time when she sets up reports for people: "it's filtered by me because that's what I'm supposed to do. But then I'm like, wait, it's not working. There's zero."
