People get overwhelmed, and I love when you can say, "Hey, I know I said a bunch of stuff. I know there's a bunch of stuff going on. Don't worry about it. You'll get it over time. But if I can get you to remember three things or four things or five things, whatever it is, it's these things." Keep those updated and, in his words, you've got "projections that you can then also break down by rep or by a business segment." That always clicks.
