Implementation problem or adoption problem?

A team comes to you and says "help us go, we're at zero," and they want to get from zero to one on forecasting. It feels like a technology question. It usually isn't. The technology is not where the question marks are in that situation. It's the adoption, their understanding, reducing the friction, putting it in the views, giving them the reminders, and working out where the mindset hurdles are. That is what makes the initiative successful, not spending all your time on what the drop-down value should be.
