Hubsessed Office Hours: Reporting and Dashboards

Tech debt is the constraint right now

Chris Carolan · Wednesday, October 14, 2026

Before you build a workflow or a calculated property to make the data do something, ask whether you're about to add to what's already in the way. Any data transformation or curation that isn't out of the box usually ends up as calculated properties or workflows. Then you see sync properties and think, that would have been cool last week, before I built that workflow. I'd argue that if it was last year, you're less willing to redo it than if it was last week. Personally, I'm super excited at the idea of customers having to pay for workflow actions, because I think that's the only way they're going to get rid of those workflows. That's my opinion. Tech debt, or what we've created already, or the way we've always done it, is often a constraint that gets in the way of folks right now. Which of your workflows would you rebuild this week? October sessions are free; all you need is a free Hubsessed subscription. Replay clip from Hubsessed Office Hours: Reporting and Dashboards. Joshua Oakes and Madelyn Donovan hosted, and I joined in.
