Associations are unreal complex: let Breeze carry it

Chris Carolan · Friday, October 23, 2026

Do you remember how to get to the page where activities connect to objects in HubSpot? I do a daily show and I don't, every time. I was on a feedback call with the product team the day before this session, and I told them the associations (how HubSpot connects one record to another) of activities and objects are unreal complex right now. Activities weren't always an object, they're still separated between activity type and object, so you go to objects to get to this page, then you click on associations, then it's which direction are we going. The complexity gets handled by Breeze (HubSpot's built-in AI) and you're there at the end. That makes it way easier than this page to explain to somebody, to hold their hand on a call, in onboarding, in training: okay, this is super complex, but let's walk through this together. To think we can solve for the complexity of this data model space (how all your records and their connections are laid out) without a complex UI is always the product team's catch-22. Which is why I want Breeze, Breeze, Breeze to make it easy for me to see before it starts. Then all the feedback comes: "Oh Breeze, what's going on here?" or "Oh Breeze, this one part's not right, whatever rule that you did." You get a concrete case for letting Breeze carry the complexity of a page like this, so the people using it don't have to. Which page in your HubSpot do you have to relearn every time? The live room is where membership leads, and replays stay open to anyone who signs in to Hubsessed. Replay clip from Hubsessed Office Hours: HubSpot Super Admin. George B.
