Don't ask AI whether you should do this in HubSpot. It's not going to tell you the truth. Ask whether the process is documented. Is it documented for each revenue stream? These processes often have different owners inside the organization, and it doesn't have to happen so haphazardly anymore, because now you have a system in HubSpot that can support it. HubSpot doesn't have to do the invoicing, but we have a place to put invoice data now. As long as that's coming in through an integration with your invoicing system or ERP, we can say the bill date is on the line item and we know the invoice went out. But the person who owns that process needs to be on board, and needs to help you understand: oh yeah, that customer got a special deal and we bill them at this time. All that stuff starts to come up.
